Outlaw Lake hosted a skiing clinic instructed by slalom skiing legend Andy Mapple.  Although originally from Great Britian, Mapple now resides in Orlando, FL.  Retiring undefeated from competitive skiing in 2004, Mapple now tours the county holding coaching clinics.  He has held 11 world records and was ranked number one on the World Rankings List for 21 years straight.  One of his greatest honors was being presented with the O.B.E. Award (Officer of the British Empire Award) by the Queen of England for exemplary service to the sport.

*Clinic participants included Mike Bray, Cody Bray, and Alec Shuler from Marlow; Todd Wyatt, Brendan Wolverton, and Dr. Bob Head from Lawton; Jerry Goodson from Duncan, and Rich Foster from Enid.
